Job Description
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Executive (Air Freight) to join a leading international logistics & freight forwarding company in Hanoi. This position plays a vital role in coordinating airfreight shipments, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction through daily interactions and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily customer service tasks: handling SOPs, shipment tracking, documentation, and system updates.
- Understand and monitor shipment workflows and proactively resolve any issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with terminal handling teams, nominated agents, and local service providers to ensure smooth cargo operations and on-time dispatch.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, manage complaints and inquiries with timely and effective communication.
- Liaise with overseas offices to align operational and commercial needs and ensure consistency of service.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
- Perform data entry, milestone tracking (EDI), and documentation; oversee AR/AP and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) while complying with company processes and legal regulations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry, preferably in air freight.
- Experience handling electronics clients is a plus.
- Proficiency in English is required; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility and dependability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
