Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring effective workload allocation and timely task completion
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and develop team capabilities
- Review and approve key accounting transactions, reports, and reconciliations
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high performing team environment
Accounting Operations
- Oversee daily accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Tax
- Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant accounting records
- Lead month end, quarter end, and year end closing processes
- Review financial statements and group reporting packages
- Analyze financial results and identify key risks and issues for management
Costing & Inventory
- Oversee product costing and inventory valuation
- Analyze cost variances and identify opportunities for improvement
- Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Purchasing teams to strengthen cost and inventory control
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Review tax filings, finalization, and statutory reports
- Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders
- Identify compliance risks and implement corrective actions
SAP & Process Improvement
- Serve as SAP key user for accounting and support system related projects
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Handle other assignments as required by Management
Requirements
- 8+ years of Finance & Accounting experience, preferably in FDI companies
- Manufacturing or engineering experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards; IFRS is an advantage
- Hands on ERP experience; SAP preferred
- Good understanding of tax regulations
- Good English communication skills
