Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring financial statements are prepared in compliance with VAS and IFRS for the group and its subsidiaries.
- Develop and maintain standardized management reporting processes to support business performance and strategic decision making.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, statutory filings, and reporting requirements for listed entities and relevant regulatory authorities.
- Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting process, conduct variance analysis, and provide recommendations to improve financial and operational performance.
- Support cash flow planning, liquidity management, and fundraising initiatives.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting while providing guidance and capability development.
- Deliver financial analysis and strategic insights to the Board of Directors and senior leadership to support key business decisions.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements, ensuring timely implementation and effective group tax management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Direct Line Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 7–8 years of accounting and finance experience, including significant exposure to the real estate industry.
- Demonstrated experience as a Chief Accountant or in a comparable senior finance role, preferably within a publicly listed company.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of working under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
